This self-inking dater allows for a small custom message to be customized to the left of and before the date and is available in 11 ink colors. The custom area for your message measures 3/8" x 1" which accommodates up to 2 lines of text; the overall width of the impression including the date is approximately 1-7/8". Date height is 5/32" and bands include a changeable date up to 12 years with guaranteed 10 current years. Will last for several thousand impressions and can easily be re-inked with water-based ink! If I don’t use 2 hands to press down, the center text doesn’t print. So that little oddity would be better if it didn’t exist. Otherwise it works fine if I use two hands to press down.
